Project Fair
The NCJC Convention Project Fair is back by popular demand! The booths offer convention-goers a great opportunity to learn more about state priority projects and resources available to local chapters. There is no cost to participate in the fair this year. We recommend tri-fold displays in the typical science fair style. These will be displayed in the training space that will be open to the public, so please take time to make them look professional. Please contact Stacy Hanna to register your space by January 15th.
Jaycees on the Capitol
The North Carolina Junior Chamber, through its local chapters has a long history of impacting its community on the state through projects specifically directed at action and involvement with local and state governmental agencies. The 2010 Executive Board is broadening the Junior Chamber's involvement with state government by working towards hearing from state officials, cabinet secretaries, and members of the NC General Assembly about issues of importance to North Carolina's young professionals.
Jaycees on the Capitol will give Jaycees from across the state an opportunity to learn more about state government through trainings, tour government facilities and offices and speak directly to elected officials in Raleigh.
It is not required that you participate in the entire Jaycees on Capitol. Feel free to pick and choose which portions you would like to attend. We do ask if you come to the Meet and Greet that you remain for the trainings.
Below is our schedule-at-a-glance. Some times may change slightly. We will begin posting our full schedule starting January 2010, so be sure to visit again soon.
