About 2009 Year End NC Jaycee Convention
The North Carolina Junior Chamber Year End Convention is a powerful annual convention consisting of Jaycees from across the state. This two and half day long convention includes a mix of professional and personal development trainings, an interactive expo for networking, information sharing, education and of course FUN!
During the convention, the Jaycees will celebrate 2009 with award ceremonies. On Friday, Jaycees will celebrate 2009 President Valerie Huffman and her Executive Board at the annual Farewell Ceremony. Saturday night, the Jaycees will officially usher in 2010 with the inauguration of Maria Hicks-Few as President and the installation of the 2010 Executive Board.

Driving Directions to the Sheraton
From East: Take Interstate 40 to Exit 298B (South Saunders Street).Keep right to McDowell Street. Turn right onto Davie Street and then right onto Salisbury Street. The hotel will be on the left.
From North: Take State Highway 1 to Capital Boulevard. Proceed on Capital Boulevard which will become Dawson Street. Turn left onto Hillsborough Street and then right onto Salisbury Street. The hotel is on the left.
From Raleigh-Durham International Airport: Take Interstate 40 East towards Raleigh and take Exit 298B (South Saunders Street). Keep right and continue to McDowell Street and then turn right onto Davie Street. Turn right onto South Salisbury Street to the hotel.
From South: Take State Highway 1 to Interstate 40 East. Proceed on I-40E and take Exit 298B (South Saunders Street). Keep right to McDowell Street. Turn right onto Davie Street and then right onto Salisbury Street. The hotel will be on the left.
Parking
The City of Raleigh will be holding a special event downtown the weekend of Convention, therefore, the City has determined that there will be special event parking for the duration of that weekend. To that end, if you have reserved a room at the hotel and park in the Sheraton's secured lot, your room will be charged $7 per night (for Friday and Saturday nights) per car. If you are not staying at the Sheraton, you may park at the adjacent City Parking Deck for $7 per night (for Friday and Saturday nights) as well. More information will be provided to convention attendees closer to convention.
